Dear Fredonia Community,
What the hell is wrong with you. Why would anyone ever try to cancel the people making the furry posters is honestly beyond me, but I was recently made aware of this predicament via Yik Yak.
Apparently, the furries made a poster using AI in December of 2024, put it up, and now everyone is mad. It’s times like these that I start to feel like a reactionary conservative.
Yes, AI is bad and blah blah blah, we get it. You don’t like AI. No one fucking does besides the idiots who ask Grok something underneath every Twitter post. That’s not the point.
I’m an avid furry poster enthusiast. I literally wrote the longest article I’ve ever made for this website about the furry posters. I feel like we should be focused on bigger things that are damaging the Fredonia community, like the fact that Cranston’s stopped having egg at the sandwich station and I can’t eat a breakfast sandwich for dinner anymore.
There are bigger things to be focused on. What the hell are we even doing anymore.
I recently saw a furry poster with a labubu on it. Amazing. I saw one that said “chile, I’m finna gonna pick up my son from school” and it made me burst out laughing.
The furry posters were something that brought us all together and made us laugh. It was a big inside joke for all of campus. It was something to look forward to.
All I can really as for is for us to stop cancelling the people that bring joy to the community and just have a little bit of fun once in a while. That’s literally it.
