Dear SUNY Fredonia Furries,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing in regard to the lovely furry posters that were once in almost every academic building on campus.
I search for them everywhere. I have been since I got back from winter break. Yet, I find that there are very few left. I feel their absence in my heart and soul. I mourn them like a dead family member. They brought me peace in the dark world we live in today.
I miss them every single day. I think about them, I dream about them, I yearn for them.
There’s only one poster I see nowadays, and it’s the one thing keeping me going. It puts a smile on my face when I pass it, reminding me to find humor in tragedy.
I urge you to put up more posters. Not for me, not for you, but for the good of humanity.
I understand that campus has recently cracked down on posters, and that you have to get something stamped in order for it to stay up, but you cannot let them silence you. Free speech, First Amendment, all of that good stuff is what makes America a furry-friendly country. It’s what makes this campus a furry-friendly community.
I need to see them. I need to see Carl and his burgers every day before I go to class. I need to see Jenna everytime I go to grab lunch.
Put. More. Posters. Up.
PLEASE.
Sincerely,
SUNY Fredonia’s student body AI Arman
As a suny fred furry i too am repulsed and outraged by this sudden change. It is saddening and outright disrespectful for us to he treated this way. We deserve better. #justiceforfredfurries
